Everyone seems to be in agreement in this one, hah. I guess I'll vote for Lloyd because I've never sided with him before and I almost feel bad for him losing all these debates. It's interesting, though, that this episode was released this week, because I'm currently visiting family from down south and they all listen to country. I can't stand it! All the songs sound the same! And furthermore, as Penalty pointed out, why is it called "country" music? Who coined that term? That genre, if you can call it one, does not represent our country, and it shouldn't even be associated with America!

Penalty did have a great point on "I see a bolo tie, I cross the street." I do that. It's that kind of wardrobe culture that make me feel ashamed of mySELF just to SEE it on someone else.

Amen to that, brothas! The crud out there..it's not even country anymore. It hasn't been for a long time. Nashville's been corrupting things for too long, and I think they need to go back and listen to the Harry Smith Anthology a couple more times. They have no soul, and they're sucking the nation's away.
As great as it was to hear them agree, it's less fun when I can't take a side. (I'm just with Penalty in general) What happened to teams, Dan? What happened to teams? Let's not forget this is a debate show. "Yes or no, and why?" Not that hard of a concept. -

Great episode, my favorite so far! this one felt more like the meth minute to me. On Lloyd's side cause I always side with Penalty and this time I couldn't decide.

Normally I'm with Penalty, but Lloyd seems to really have a deeper hatred of country music, with which I am in full agreement. You have to follow your passion(ate hatred of things).

Well (most) rap sucks too you guys!! Not trying to get anyone pissed or whatever but it is trashy, disrespectful, and sometimes plain disgusting....Now, the oldschoolers like run DmC and even MC Hammmer (lol!!) were good. I wish we'd go back to real rappping instead of mainstream's nasty garbage.

I also agree on the country western debate, all the music is extremely repetitive and is generally annoying, but rap is also obnoxious. Seriously, if you look at the top ten songs on iTunes, it's all a bunch of garbage! America needs to start listening to some quality music! On a different note, I liked seeing Penalty and Lloyd agree on something for once, though. Maybe Lloyd can actually win a debate for once...

I completely agree. Country music is terrible. Although rap isn't much better. Both genres of music sing about most of the same things. Except rap is more violent and country is more about whining about everything. (Your trailer, dog, wife/girlfriend/sister, and your tractor.) Rock FTW!

These episodes are too short and the dialogue is too chopped up to make a coherent show. There's way too much fluff and barely a plot. You guys got to get back to your Meth Minute roots and have a cartoon idea planned out before you do it.

Today's popular country music is of course... so damn formulaic I feel like I could make a running car from hearing enough of it. As in... its BAD!
I know country can be fantastic, but when its condescending redneck propoganda (which ironically is its evolution from the great country music), I feel so bad... people are forced into all this brainless shit... its the equivalent of some soft drinks, you do even like it, but you have to have more. We've forgotten decency in the pursuit of happiness, because we confused happiness with excess... thats why people love to just lie in the sun.
