TV is crap, 90% of it is reruns, and 95% of it is recycled plots, and all of it is time wasting.

  • lok wrote in reply on January 3, 3:33 pm

then why do you watch it?

  • Sappy wrote on November 13, 10:04 pm

Television is good for you! There are crappy shows, but they ruin it for the other shows.

  • BrainGun64 (guest) wrote on October 20, 10:22 am

Penalty is a man of competitive banter who has the power to speak out on hot-button topics.

  • Todd wrote on October 17, 2:01 pm

I uhhh, I honestly am not sure who Im with. I agree with Penalty but 1983? Hardly the good old days. TV is terrible but Lloyd makes some valid points. Meh, forget it... Ruth FTW.

  • Daniel (guest) wrote on October 17, 11:51 am

I think Ruth is right. Murder She Wrote is a great program.

  • Iuel (guest)(team lloyd) wrote on October 15, 7:42 pm

The good old days is so not crap Leave it to beaver, Andy Griffin show and much more!!
    Take that Penalty

  • commander144(team penalty) wrote in reply on November 12, 10:22 pm

Then shouldn't you be on team Penalty if you like shows back in the old days

  • Eliot Wolf (guest)(team lloyd) wrote on October 13, 1:54 am

I agree with Lloyd. TV is a choice and if that choice is to sit on your but and watch re-runs of Mickey Mouse club house till you die of starvation, so be it. It's just another reason why people suck, but that's their problem.

  • Iuel (guest)(team lloyd) wrote on October 12, 1:24 pm

Penalty is a dickhead because he is crap

  • commander144(team penalty) wrote in reply on December 4, 12:55 am

    Look who's talking

  • ReillySH(team penalty) wrote on October 11, 12:38 pm

I Agree With Penalty Here Guys, I Mean 8 Seasons Of American Idol?! I Love T.V, But Please Stop The Crap.

  • Iuel (guest)(team lloyd) wrote in reply on October 15, 7:45 pm

You have to be kidding me American Idol has made mor money than you ever in your entire life!!!!!!

  • javawolf (guest)(team penalty) wrote on October 11, 3:59 am

I honestly believe that there is still some good TV, but a lot of it is crap nowadays..I mean seriously. American Idol, FOX News, Cartoon Network (although I still like Flapjack and chowder). Its all dead to me. So I'm going to have to go with Pen. And seriously. Go read a book...

  • David Schultz (guest) wrote on October 8, 10:43 pm

There are a lot of good TV shows, but too much crap to sort through.

  • burnup7200 (guest) wrote on October 8, 6:47 pm

burnup burnup burnup burnup burnup burnup

  • dhasak wrote on October 8, 5:06 pm

Did you see that beanie?? WILD!

  • Arianne (guest)(team lloyd) wrote on October 7, 6:26 pm

Well, I'm with Lloyd for this one this time, 'cause there ARE educating programs out there like the Discovery Chanel programs or History Bites even. Yes, there are a lot of reality shows that just make Paris and Nicole look even more uncool but from those shows, I learned to not be like those girls. TV can be crap but it's up to you to not watch it- some people like the crappy shows best.

  • i WIL eat YoU (guest)(team penalty) wrote on October 7, 5:34 pm

T.V. really is CRAP!! people were way better of reading and playing the piano

  • anarkist(team penalty) wrote on October 7, 1:46 pm

IT'S CRAP!!! that pretty much sums it up.

  • fireflare(team penalty) wrote on October 6, 9:13 pm

Penalty is totally right i mean people would be better off reading a book or playing outside than wasting their time on the TV!Also all the TV shows these days have gotten worse.

  • BeefJerky542 (guest)(team penalty) wrote on October 6, 7:58 pm

Yet again Penalty speaks whats on our minds TV has gotten terrible.

  • starburst112(team penalty) wrote on October 6, 5:17 pm

old 90's is sometimes crap and garbage.

  • commander144(team penalty) wrote in reply on November 11, 2:21 pm

Yeah but there were some good shows back in the 90's

  • CaseDemmon(team penalty) wrote on October 6, 2:24 pm

I think that yet again Penalty has this one won, cuz like what Niko said, "TV isn't really good nowadays." (something like that). TV at this time IS in fact crap because there are so many shows these days, that I don't even know what's good anymore. Sure, I WATCH TV, but I watch old shows that are older and decent. Also, TV is destroying our youth, and now there are almost no more big bands. I bring that up because I am a huge fan of big bands, and play the trumpet.

Revive Big Bands, and keep up the FITE!

  • Jenniqua(team lloyd) wrote on October 6, 10:25 am

    "things have always been crappy"

That pretty much sums it up for me.

  • SgtHydra(team lloyd) wrote on October 5, 11:32 pm

I think I heard Penalty's soul breaking in two.

Today is the golden age of Television.

Heroes, Lost, 24, Battlestar Galactica, Scrubs, Colbert Report, Daily Show, O'Rielly Factor.

Whatever your political leaning, whatever your favorite genre, there is a show for you out there.

Lloyd, keep up the good FITE!

  • commander144(team penalty) wrote in reply on November 11, 2:22 pm

    And so does Fear Factor

  • commander144(team penalty) wrote in reply on November 11, 2:20 pm

Heroes and Battlestar Galactica suck dude

  • americanvirus2(team lloyd) wrote on October 5, 10:30 pm

Everyone that hates tv is a hippie liberal douche

  • Bluenowait (guest)(team penalty) wrote on October 5, 9:37 pm

The only bright spot of TV is Turner Classic Movies, Good ol' days 24/7! Oh and if you're wondering, I'm 18.5.
Everything cool is on the internet, like NITE FITE!!

  • Dmitri Anesti(team penalty) wrote on October 5, 7:25 pm

I'm gonna have to go with Penalty....TV sucks!

  • Fishes wrote on October 5, 7:22 pm

Penalty is right, READ A BOOK. I find books more interesting than TV sometimes, and some books are actually good against common belief.

  • Fishes wrote in reply on October 5, 7:23 pm

However, there are actually some good shows on today, so im guest.

  • Maikelange(team penalty) wrote on October 5, 6:39 pm

    TV is full of crap
    TV shouldn't exist
it will be better if internet existed back on those days
    then you'll be watching the
    programs that you like
and not those choose randomly for you

  • WesChard(team lloyd) wrote on October 5, 4:38 pm

While I agree with Lloyd on this one, I do believe that there are a lot of oldies still on TV that are great... but those are the only ones that were good... there were a lot of crappy shows back in the day too...

  • dakaf_fal(team lloyd) wrote on October 5, 2:14 pm

TV isn't necessarily good for America, but the "good old days" were not good. In fact, they pretty much sucked unless you Marie Antoinette (at least until you get beheaded...).

  • NikoAnesti(team penalty) wrote on October 5, 1:29 pm

Penalty has this one again. TV, now more than ever, really is crap. I never almost never turn on my TV anymore. I watch some things on and off but I can't remember the last time I actually sat down with the intention of watching an entire program. It's definitely affected people's lifestyles. Nobody goes out to do things anymore, they just watch stuff unfold on TV. That's not entertaining! It's crap! It's the fall of fu...er...well, I think Penalty and Lloyd know where that comment was headed.

  • Ten-High Charlie (guest)(team lloyd) wrote on October 5, 1:05 pm

I have to agree with Lloyd. The 1980's where not and will not ever be the good old days.

  • K.Star (guest)(team penalty) wrote in reply on October 8, 1:07 pm

    What about Transformers?

  • ambrosy14 (guest)(team lloyd) wrote in reply on October 5, 1:12 pm

    Amen, Ten-high Charlie! 80s sucked.

  • JustinSane80 (guest)(team penalty) wrote on October 5, 12:27 pm

I've gotta go with Penalty on this one. I mean, there are a few good shows out there...but there is a LOT of crap on TV. We're in our what, 8th season of American Idol?

  • Attaloi(team lloyd) wrote on October 5, 12:04 pm

    Sorry Pen, you got owned.

  • commander144(team penalty) wrote in reply on December 4, 1:00 am

But the daily news is important (when they're not talking about celebrities)

  • commander144(team penalty) wrote in reply on November 11, 2:17 pm

Other than that, the only good shows were pretty much back in the 80's

  • commander144(team lloyd) wrote in reply on November 11, 2:15 pm

I agree, But the only good show anymore is Star Wars:The Clone Wars(the GCI animated version)

  • BrainGun64 wrote in reply on October 22, 7:33 am

Crap! Crap! Crap! Network TV is full of unscripted programming!
